UNSPSC 31261702: Mounted generator set noise control enclosure

UNSPSC 31261702 Mounted generator set noise control enclosure is a Commodity code, but the recent state and local procurement activity under this code shows no direct solicitations for generator noise control equipment. The single recent opportunity associated with the code — Donna Independent School District's RFP 011326874, posted March 21, 2026 with response due April 8, 2026 — is a broad catalog bid for general hardware and lumber supplies including structural materials, fasteners, tools, and safety equipment, with no mention of generator enclosures or power generation equipment. The code appears to carry a classification mismatch with the actual purchasing activity being tracked beneath it in this jurisdiction's system.

The Donna ISD procurement is a typical school district hardware and lumber catalog bid, seeking multiple vendor awards on a discount-from-list basis for the 2026–2027 school year with options to extend two additional years. The district makes no minimum-purchase guarantee and evaluates on selection, service, and price. The opportunity shows no geographic spread beyond Cameron County, Texas, and no repeat buyers or standout issuing bodies in the recent-opportunities block. Given the absence of relevant generator enclosure solicitations and the clear divergence between the code's nominal scope and what Donna ISD is actually purchasing, this code shows little actionable recent activity for firms focused on mounted generator noise control products.
