UNSPSC 27131501: Pneumatic impact wrenches

UNSPSC 27131501 Pneumatic impact wrenches (Commodity) shows minimal recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The two most recent opportunities posted under this code—Lubbock Power & Light's RFP #7137-26-ELD for outdoor vacuum circuit breakers (posted August 27, 2026, due September 24, 2026) and Sourcewell's RFP #061626 for law enforcement equipment (posted May 12, 2026, due June 16, 2026)—are unrelated to pneumatic impact wrenches or hand tools generally. The circuit breaker solicitation involves electrical equipment rated 15kV, 2000A, and 25kA capacity with protective relays and transformers for substation installation; the law enforcement equipment procurement establishes a statewide cooperative contracting vehicle through Sourcewell on behalf of participating Washington counties and broader public entities. Neither reflects actual demand for pneumatic tools under this code.

The code lacks clear signal of active state and local procurement for pneumatic impact wrenches. Issuing bodies and geographic spread cannot be characterized from recent opportunities, as the tagged solicitations do not represent genuine procurement under the commodity's scope. Business development professionals should verify whether this code is being used correctly in state and local procurement databases or whether demand for pneumatic impact wrenches routes through different UNSPSC classifications in practice.
