UNSPSC 27112720: Torque tools

UNSPSC 27112720 Torque tools is a Commodity code that does not align with the recent state and local procurement activity tagged under it. The sole recent opportunity in the dataset—Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners' ITB2600319 for janitorial and operational supplies—is unrelated to torque tools or mechanical fastening equipment. The ITB solicits consumable supplies for the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Department's 47 fire stations, including cleaning, sanitation, and operational consumables delivered on an as-needed basis to the Public Safety Operations Complex in Tampa, Florida. This mismatch suggests either a data-entry error in the opportunity's UNSPSC classification or that the code sees minimal genuine activity in state and local procurement at this time.

The code shows no other recent opportunities that align with its nominal scope. Without additional representative solicitations for torque tools from state or local issuing bodies, geographic concentration and issuing-body mix cannot be assessed. Business development professionals should treat this Commodity code as dormant in current state and local procurement activity and verify UNSPSC alignment before pursuing opportunities tagged under it.
