UNSPSC 27111765: Drum plug wrench

A non adjustable tool used in opening and closing the screw cap of oil drum.

UNSPSC 27111765 Drum plug wrench is a Commodity code that in recent state and local procurement appears to encompass janitorial, operational, and consumable supplies rather than the specialized tool its abstract name suggests. Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners issued an ITB in July 2026 for consumable janitorial and operational supplies on an as-needed basis, with an estimated contract value of $765,679.84 for a one-year period. The supplies support the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Department's 47 fire stations operating 24 hours daily. Products must be new, unused, and in original packaging; bidders must be authorized distributors capable of providing backorder, recall, and chain-of-custody information, with standard delivery within 10 days and emergency delivery within five business days to the Public Safety Operations Complex in Tampa, Florida. Pricing is quoted free-on-board Destination, with all shipping and warranty costs included, and the County reserves the right to award by line item, group, section, or overall total net bid price.

The code shows recent activity in Florida, specifically Hillsborough County. The Hillsborough County ITB-26-00319, posted July 7, 2026 with a due date of July 24, 2026, represents the primary recent opportunity under this code. The contract may be extended to members of the Hillsborough County Governmental Purchasing Council. No minimum purchase quantities are guaranteed, and bidders must submit a Drug-Free Workplace Certification Form under Florida Statute 287.087 and a Substitute W-9 Form; no bid, performance, or payment surety is required.
