UNSPSC 26111546: Turbine disk

A component that fixes the turbine blade in the axial flow of a turbine engine thereby conveying the motive power obtained from the blade to the rotor shaft.

UNSPSC 26111546 Turbine disk is a Commodity code that nominally covers rotating machinery components for power generation and industrial equipment. However, recent state and local procurement activity under this code shows little relevance to the code's intended scope. The single recent opportunity tagged to 26111546 is DeKalb County's ITB 2026-076-ITB for reconstruction of the DeKalb Tennis Center in Decatur, Georgia, which solicits IT and low-voltage infrastructure installation — conduit, cabling, raceways, testing, and documentation — with no connection to turbine disks or related mechanical components. This mismatch suggests either a tagging error in the source or that the code is not actively used by state and local procurement offices for its nominal commodity.

The code shows minimal recent activity. No additional opportunities appear in the available records beyond the DeKalb County infrastructure solicitation due July 13, 2026. Without further opportunities to establish geographic concentration or issuing-body patterns, the code does not present a clear signal for business development targeting state and local turbine disk procurement at this time.
