UNSPSC 26111522: Pusher assembly

UNSPSC 26111522 Pusher assembly is a Commodity code that describes individual mechanical components used in industrial equipment, but the recent state and local solicitations tagged with this code do not reflect actual procurement of pusher assemblies. Instead, the opportunities posted under this code involve large-scale infrastructure projects: the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County is requesting Letters of Interest for a full Demolition, Design, Build, Operate and Maintain (DDBOM) engagement for a new mass-burn waste-to-energy facility processing up to 2,550 tons per day, and DeKalb County, Georgia is soliciting bids for reconstruction of a tennis center with IT and low-voltage infrastructure installation. These opportunities represent a significant mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the work actually being bought; the code shows little relevant recent activity in state and local procurement.

The geographic spread of posted opportunities reflects activity in Florida and Georgia, but without corroborating Commodity-level solicitation records that target pusher assemblies specifically, no actionable market characterization emerges from this source. The Solid Waste Authority opportunity (RFEI 27501JH, due November 18, 2026) and the DeKalb County ITB 2026-076-ITB (due July 13, 2026) are both resolved or imminent, and neither represents procurement aligned with the code's definition. Business development professionals should verify whether this code designation reflects a data-entry error or a systematic tagging issue before pursuing activity under UNSPSC 26111522 in state and local markets.
