UNSPSC 25131709: Military transport aircraft

UNSPSC 25131709 Military transport aircraft is a Commodity code that covers the procurement or lease of cargo and personnel transport aircraft for military and defense operations. State and local governments rarely procure under this code; the scope is primarily federal military and defense-department acquisitions. The code nominally addresses fixed-wing transport platforms used for moving personnel, equipment, and supplies across operational theaters, but state and local procurement records show no recent activity under this classification.

The source provides no recent state and local contract opportunities under this code. Military transport aircraft procurement falls outside the typical scope of state, county, municipal, school district, transit authority, and special-purpose district spending. When state and local entities require air transport services, they typically solicit under service-level UNSPSC codes rather than equipment acquisition codes, and they do so infrequently. This code is not a productive pursuit avenue for business development professionals focused on state and local markets.
