UNSPSC 25111806: Rafts

UNSPSC 25111806 Rafts, a Commodity code, encompasses recreational and operational watercraft vessels, though recent state and local procurement activity under this code reflects narrow, equipment-specific purchases rather than raft acquisition proper. State and local governments are sourcing outboard motors and law enforcement equipment with marine applications through this code. Issuing bodies include county procurement offices (Chatham County, Georgia) acquiring equipment for marine patrol operations, and cooperative purchasing vehicles such as Sourcewell (a State of Minnesota local government unit) establishing master agreements on behalf of participating county and municipal entities across multiple states.

Activity appears concentrated in Washington state and Georgia, with Sourcewell's cooperative structure extending participation across Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima Counties in Washington, alongside numerous jurisdictions nationwide. Recent opportunities include Chatham County's IFB for two new Mercury outboard motors designated for marine patrol, with a response date of May 4, 2026, and Sourcewell's RFP #061626 for law enforcement equipment (posted May 12, 2026; due June 16, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. Central Time), which encompasses marine and aquatic law enforcement equipment across thousands of governmental agencies, K–12 school districts, and tribal governments in the United States and Canada. Sourcewell submissions require vendor registration on its procurement portal; Chatham County directs all bidder inquiries through its Bonfire portal to the designated procurement specialist and prohibits direct departmental contact during the bidding process.
