UNSPSC 24101606: Stackers

UNSPSC 24101606 Stackers, a Commodity code, covers the procurement of industrial lifting equipment — scissorlifts, dock lifts, and mobile column lifts — that state and local governments buy for facility operations, maintenance, and transit department fleets. State and local issuing bodies under this code include state correctional and juvenile justice departments, county transit authorities, and municipal transportation departments. The work involves the supply and delivery of manufacturer-specified lifting equipment, often with training, warranty support, and technical documentation included in the contract scope.

Recent activity shows the code in use across Texas and Georgia. The Texas Department of Criminal Justice issued IFB IW252869 on June 29, 2026, for two scissorlifts with responses due July 3, 2026, through the Bonfire procurement portal; the Texas Juvenile Justice Department issued IFB FY26BWDDOCKLIFT in April 2026 for a dock lift with 560/48 capacity specifications. Augusta-Richmond County, Georgia, issued ITB PE72155NONST2026000000184 on April 17, 2026, for a Mobile Column Lift Replacement (one Rotary MCHM419 Flex Max unit) for the Augusta Transit Department, with bids due May 27, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., an optional pre-bid conference scheduled for May 11, 2026, and Local Vendor Preference and M/WBE program requirements applying to the award; the procurement anticipated a contract value of $100,000 or less.
