UNSPSC 24101507: Wheelbarrows

UNSPSC 24101507 Wheelbarrows is a Commodity code that in recent state and local procurement activity covers law enforcement equipment rather than wheelbarrows narrowly construed. Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government cooperative, issued RFP #061626 in May 2026 on behalf of participating entities including Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima Counties in Washington state, along with numerous other jurisdictions, school districts, tribal governments, and nonprofit organizations across the United States and Canada. The solicitation seeks to establish a cooperative contracting vehicle for law enforcement equipment available to thousands of public-sector buyers. The issuing mechanism is a cooperative purchasing framework advertised under Washington state law (RCW 39.34), structured to allow selected vendors to serve multiple jurisdictions under standardized contracting terms. No specific set-asides, incumbent vendors, or award values are identified in the available solicitation materials.

The geographic scope of this cooperative extends across multiple states, with Washington counties named as initial participants and broader national and Canadian participation indicated. Sourcewell manages the procurement through its proprietary portal at proportal.sourcewell-mn.gov, where vendors must create accounts to access solicitation documents and submit proposals. The response deadline for RFP #061626 was June 16, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. Central Time. Questions are directed to Mari Vielma at rfp@sourcewell-mn.gov or 888-894-1930. The cooperative structure allows flexibility in contract deployment across participating entities and creates a standardized procurement pathway for public-sector law enforcement equipment procurement across a distributed set of jurisdictions.
