UNSPSC 23101505: Boring machines

UNSPSC 23101505 Boring machines (Commodity) does not align with the state and local procurement activity currently tagged under this code. The single recent opportunity on record — Sourcewell RFP #061626, posted May 12, 2026, with a response date of June 16, 2026 — solicits law enforcement equipment through a cooperative purchasing vehicle serving multiple Washington counties (Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima) and participating entities nationwide. This procurement targets governmental agencies, school districts, tribal governments, and nonprofit organizations, but the specific equipment categories and technical scope are not detailed in available documentation. The solicitation does not reference boring machines or related drilling or excavation equipment; the mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the actual procurement indicates limited or misclassified recent activity under this Commodity code for state and local buyers.

No additional recent state and local opportunities for boring machines appear in the available records. The code shows minimal or no active demand signal among state and local procurement offices at present. Business development professionals should verify whether Sourcewell or other cooperative purchasing frameworks have issued prior or planned solicitations for boring machines under different code classifications, or monitor for future activity as capital equipment procurement cycles advance.
