UNSPSC 21102600: Agricultural protection materials

Items such as sun shade material, specialized agricultural plastic films etc. used to protect agricultural products

UNSPSC 21102600 Agricultural protection materials is a Class code with minimal recent relevant activity in state and local procurement. The three most recent opportunities posted under this code show no meaningful alignment with agricultural protection materials. One is an administrative notice of the Williamson County Purchasing Department's relocation in Texas, which contains no procurement scope. A second, Sourcewell's RFP #061626 for Law Enforcement Equipment (response due June 16, 2026), addresses law enforcement gear for participating entities across multiple states and Canada — entirely outside the agricultural protection scope. The third, Butts County School System's IFB for School Nutrition Program food supplies (response due May 26, 2026), solicits food products for school meal service, not agricultural protection materials. None of these opportunities represents genuine demand for agricultural protection equipment, pest control, soil amendments, or related commodities that would fall under the code's intended scope.

The geographic spread across the recent postings—Texas, Minnesota-based cooperative serving nationwide and Canadian jurisdictions, and Georgia—reflects wide dispersal driven by the unrelated nature of the opportunities rather than concentrated activity in agricultural protection procurement. The issuing bodies include a county purchasing office, a state cooperative purchasing vehicle, and a school district. Without substantive recent opportunities aligned to agricultural protection materials, the code shows no actionable purchasing activity to evaluate for business development purposes at this time.
