UNSPSC 14121702: Cylinder papers or multi layer heavyweight paper

UNSPSC 14121702 Cylinder papers or multi layer heavyweight paper is a Commodity code that sees limited recent activity in state and local procurement; the single recent opportunity identified does not reflect purchases of the nominal product. Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government cooperative, issued RFP #061626 in May 2026 for law enforcement equipment, not papers or substrates. The mismatch suggests the code assignment does not align with actual procurement needs under this particular solicitation and indicates sparse relevant activity in the recent state and local market for cylinder papers and heavyweight multi-layer paper products.

The Sourcewell RFP, due June 16, 2026, is structured as a cooperative purchasing vehicle serving thousands of governmental agencies, school districts, nonprofit organizations, and tribal governments across the United States and Canada, with Washington counties (Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima) among the named participating entities. Without additional recent opportunities reflecting genuine cylinder paper or multi-layer heavyweight paper purchases, the code's current market activity cannot be characterized by geographic concentration, issuing-body mix, or representative work scope.
