UNSPSC 12352104: Alcohols or its substitutes

UNSPSC 12352104 Alcohols or its substitutes is a Commodity code under which state and local governments procure ethanol, methanol, isopropanol, and related compounds for use in maintenance, cleaning, disinfection, laboratory operations, and fuel blending. The code spans both industrial-grade bulk alcohols and smaller quantities for specialized applications across diverse issuing bodies — state environmental and transportation departments, county facilities management offices, municipalities, school districts, and health and sanitation agencies. Purchases range from large-volume contracts for fleet fuel additives and facility disinfection programs to smaller RFQs for laboratory consumables and janitorial supplies.

The source provided contains no recent state and local contract opportunities tagged to this code, making it difficult to characterize current issuing-body concentration, geographic distribution, or representative recent solicitations. Without posted RFP, RFQ, IFB, or ITB records, a reliable assessment of activity level, buyer mix, or market positioning under this code cannot be made at this time.
