UNSPSC 10452302: Dried cut rhamsey oncidium orchid

Dried cut bloom of the rhamsey oncidium orchids

UNSPSC 10452302 Dried cut rhamsey oncidium orchid is a Commodity code that shows little relevant recent activity aligned with its nominal scope. The two recent state and local opportunities tagged under this code involve environmental planting and maintenance services (Pinellas County, Florida) and arts and craft supplies procurement (Columbus Consolidated Government, Georgia)—neither of which involves dried orchids or the floriculture products the code name describes. The environmental planting solicitation seeks invasive species removal, native plant installation, wetland monitoring, and site maintenance across stormwater ponds and water conveyances; the arts and craft opportunity covers general hobby and recreational supplies for parks and recreation divisions. Neither opportunity reflects demand for cut dried orchids in state or local procurement.

The mismatch between the code's stated commodity and actual solicitation scope suggests either tagging error or extremely sparse genuine demand for dried orchids in the state and local market. The Pinellas County RFP (released June 30, 2025, due July 29, 2025) and the Columbus Consolidated Government RFB No. 26-0014 (due February 25, 2026) are the only recent opportunities visible under this code. Without opportunities that actually solicit dried orchids or related floriculture products, business development professionals should treat this code as inactive for state and local pursuit.
