UNSPSC 10452212: Dried cut white cymbidium orchid

Dried cut bloom of the white variety of cymbidium orchids

UNSPSC 10452212 Dried cut white cymbidium orchid is a Commodity code that shows no recent state and local procurement activity aligned with its nominal scope. The two recent opportunities tagged under this code—Pinellas County's environmental planting, monitoring, and maintenance services contract and Columbus Consolidated Government's arts and craft supplies procurement—do not involve dried cut cymbidium orchids or dried floral products. The environmental planting solicitation focuses on invasive and exotic plant removal, native plant installation, wetland ecology, and regulatory compliance at stormwater facilities and parks; the arts and craft supplies procurement covers general supplies for parks and recreation programming. The taxonomy mismatch suggests either miscoding in the source system or a casual application of this Commodity code to broader horticultural and recreational procurement categories.

Without opportunities actually soliciting dried cut cymbidium orchids or related dried floral products, no decision basis exists for geographic concentration, issuing-body patterns, or market timing under this code. Firms pursuing state and local procurement in florals, event supplies, or landscaping materials should verify the UNSPSC codes state and local buyers actually apply to these product categories, as this code does not currently reflect aligned purchasing activity.
