UNSPSC 10201945: Live romance rose bush

Live bush including the roots of the romance variety of rose

UNSPSC 10201945 Live romance rose bush is a Commodity code that shows little alignment between its nominal scope and recent state and local procurement activity. The five recent opportunities posted under this code span IT infrastructure installation, highway landscaping and irrigation, coastal dune restoration, environmental wetland and native plant management, and general plant procurement—none of which center on live romance rose bush supply or installation. The issuing bodies soliciting under this code include county departments of innovation and technology, county public works and environmental divisions, and municipal procurement offices, with no pattern of repeat buyers across the recent record.

Geographic activity appears concentrated in Florida (Pasco County, Collier County, and Pinellas County) and Georgia (DeKalb County), with one outlier in Texas (City of Dallas). Representative recent opportunities include Pasco County's IFB for Ridge Road landscaping and irrigation installation (due April 14, 2026), Collier County's quick-quote solicitation for Bay Colony dune planting supply and installation (due March 13, 2026), and Pinellas County's five-year RFP for environmental planting, monitoring, and maintenance services (due July 29, 2025). The code appears to be a tagging error or misclassification issue rather than an active buying signal for rose bushes specifically; prospective vendors should verify the actual commodity or service code applicable to their offering before pursuing opportunities under this designation.
