UNSPSC 10201515: Live ocean song or boyfriend rose bush

Live bush including the roots of the ocean song or boyfriend variety of rose

UNSPSC 10201515 Live ocean song or boyfriend rose bush is a Commodity code with a nominal scope that does not align with the recent state and local opportunities tagged under it. The recent solicitations in the available records span landscape and irrigation construction, nursery plants and landscaping products, and IT infrastructure installation — none of which match the code's stated name. The mismatch suggests either a data error in the taxonomy tagging or a categorical misalignment between the code's intent and its current use in state and local procurement systems. Based on the opportunities actually posted under this code, state and local buyers are sourcing general landscaping plants (annuals, potted plants, plugs, grass seeds, trees) and landscape construction services on an as-needed basis.

The issuing bodies include Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (Florida), the City of Altamonte Springs (Florida), and DeKalb County (Georgia). Recent activity concentrates in Florida and Georgia. The City of Altamonte Springs issued an ITB for nursery plants and products (re-bid) with bids due July 29, 2026, structured as an as-needed, when-needed contract spanning four product groups (plugs, trees, plants, and grass seed) with an initial one-year term and four optional renewals; the contract commences October 1, 2026. Pasco County issued an IFB for landscape and irrigation construction Phase II along Little Road with bids due October 6, 2026, covering landscape design, planting, and irrigation system installation across approximately 9 miles. The code shows limited recent activity and carries categorical ambiguity that warrants clarification before pursuing opportunities under it.
