UNSPSC 10191705: Lariats

UNSPSC 10191705 Lariats (Commodity) covers rope-based lassoing and restraint equipment that state and local governments procure for animal control, equestrian programs, and ranch or agricultural operations. The code sees sporadic demand from county animal services departments, municipal parks and recreation divisions managing equestrian facilities, state agricultural agencies, and specialized animal-handling units within sheriff's offices and wildlife management programs. Work under this code is narrow and task-specific: sourcing lariats (ropes with a sliding noose or loop) for capturing, leading, or securing livestock and other animals in operational and training contexts.

The source contains no recent state and local contract opportunities tagged to UNSPSC 10191705 and no identifiable geographic concentration. Without posted RFPs, RFQs, ITBs, or response dates in the record, the code offers no actionable current procurement signal. Demand for lariats in the state and local market is driven by episodic needs—replacement of worn equipment, expansion of animal control or equestrian programs, or training initiatives—rather than sustained contract cycles. Firms with inventory and distribution reach to rural counties and agricultural regions may benefit from maintaining visibility in animal-services procurement channels, but this code does not reflect active solicitation activity at this time.
