NIGP 84066: Television-VCR Combination Sets

NIGP 84066 Television-VCR Combination Sets is an Item code under which state and local governments procure televisions and video-playback equipment for operational and facility use. Recent solicitation activity shows demand for non-smart televisions and law enforcement equipment that may include video display or recording components. The issuing bodies span state procurement offices, counties, and cooperative purchasing vehicles serving multiple jurisdiction types including K-12 school districts, higher education institutions, and tribal governments.

Geographic activity appears concentrated in the Pacific Northwest and Ohio as of mid-2026. A representative recent opportunity is Ohio's solicitation 7071 for non-smart televisions, posted June 1, 2026, with a response due June 2, 2026. Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government cooperative purchasing unit, issued RFP #061626 on behalf of its Participating Entities—including Franklin County, Grant County, Grays Harbor County, Chelan County, and Yakima County in Washington—to procure Law Enforcement Equipment available to thousands of governmental agencies, higher education institutions, K-12 school districts, nonprofits, and tribal governments across the United States and Canada, with responses due June 16, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. Central Time through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal. Vendors should note that the Ohio opportunity had a compressed one-day posting-to-deadline window, and the Sourcewell cooperative framework allows selected vendors to reach a broad spectrum of public-sector organizations through a single contracting solution.
