NIGP 83276: Tape, Wood, All Kinds

NIGP 83276 Tape, Wood, All Kinds is an Item code under which state and local governments procure wood tape products for construction, maintenance, and general operations. The actual procurement activity under this code spans electrical supplies and related materials sourced through cooperative purchasing frameworks, where jurisdictions and regional purchasing cooperatives issue competitive bids to establish catalog discount agreements with qualified suppliers.

Region 7 Purchasing Cooperative, a multi-jurisdiction cooperative serving school districts and local entities across Texas, posted an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in June 2026 seeking a catalog discount vendor for electrical supplies including miscellaneous items such as wood tape (Solicitation Number ELEC2628, due May 28, 2026). The estimated contract value is $4,854,470.00 over a two-year award period (June 18, 2026 through June 18, 2028). The cooperative's evaluation criteria prioritize discount depth, contractual compliance, net payment terms, free shipping availability, bid exclusions, and purchase-order acceptance policies. Vendors must register on the cooperative's online bidding platform and download standard terms prior to submission, with bid opening scheduled for May 28, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. This represents a renewal of an incumbent contract, indicating steady demand for catalogued commodity supplies across the cooperative's member jurisdictions in the Region 7 area of Texas.
