NIGP 83272: Tape, Thread, Teflon

NIGP 83272 Tape, Thread, Teflon is an Item code under which state and local governments procure sealing and fastening supplies — primarily Teflon (PTFE) tape, plumber's thread seal tape, and related threaded-connection sealing materials used in plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and industrial maintenance work. The code appears in solicitations from facilities management, public works, water utilities, and maintenance departments across states and municipalities that stock supplies for routine pipe-fitting, repair, and preventive maintenance operations. This is a commodity-class purchase typically bundled into larger facilities supply or building maintenance RFQs and IFBs rather than solicited as a standalone item.

The source provided contains no recent state and local contract opportunities under NIGP 83272 Tape, Thread, Teflon. Without posted solicitations naming issuing bodies, response dates, or geographic concentration, no representative opportunities can be characterized at this time.
