About NIGP 64559
NIGP 64559 Map Paper (Including Recycled), an Item code, covers the procurement of paper stock used in cartography, planning, and geographic information systems output by state and local governments. State and local bodies purchase map paper in rolls, sheets, and specialty formats for plotting, printing, and archival purposes — including recycled-content options to meet sustainability mandates. The code serves planning departments, transportation agencies, environmental offices, survey and engineering divisions, and GIS operations that require durable, precisely-dimensioned substrates for large-format output and long-term records retention.
The source provided contains no recent state or local contract opportunities under this code. Without posted RFPs, RFQs, IBFs, or ITBs naming the code, issuing-body mix, geographic concentration, and representative recent solicitations cannot be characterized.
