NIGP 54510: Coating Machines, All Types

NIGP 54510 Coating Machines, All Types is an Item code under which state and local governments procure spray-application and surface-treatment equipment for law enforcement, municipal operations, and specialized fleet maintenance. The recent solicitation activity under this code reflects demand for equipment that supports equipment maintenance and tactical operations across public agencies, though the specific application to coating machines appears in cooperative purchasing frameworks that bundle law enforcement and operational equipment into broader procurement solutions.

Sourcewell, a Minnesota-based local government cooperative, issued RFP #061626 on May 12, 2026 to establish a contracting vehicle for Law Enforcement Equipment available to participating entities across Washington state (Franklin, Grant, Grays Harbor, Chelan, and Yakima Counties) and numerous other jurisdictions throughout the United States and Canada. The RFP, with a response deadline of June 16, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. Central Time, seeks to create a standardized contracting solution accessible to governmental agencies, K-12 school districts, higher education institutions, tribal governments, and nonprofit organizations. Proposals must be submitted through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal; no award value, set-asides, or specific coating-machine specifications are disclosed in the available solicitation materials. The structure allows selected vendors to supply equipment across thousands of potential public-sector customers under a single framework agreement with participating addendum flexibility.
