NIGP 07520: Crankshaft Truing and Engine Stands

NIGP 07520 Crankshaft Truing and Engine Stands, an Item code, encompasses equipment repair and servicing tools that state and local governments procure for fleet and vehicle maintenance operations. The source material contains no recent solicitations for crankshaft truing equipment or engine stands. The one relevant recent opportunity on file is a School Board of Sarasota County, Florida supply agreement (Bid #26-0124, due February 12, 2026) for automotive and light truck repair parts across 19 manufacturers including Baldwin Filters, Bosch, Gates, Monroe, Moog, and Timken, which addresses general automotive repair inventory rather than specialized engine-service equipment; a second posting from Sourcewell addresses law enforcement equipment broadly and does not reference this code; and a third posting is a mere office-relocation notice from Williamson County Purchasing that contains no procurement scope.

State and local procurement activity under 07520 does not surface in the current market beyond the general parts opportunity in Sarasota County. No issuing bodies, geographic clusters, or representative engine-stand or crankshaft-truing solicitations are supported by the source material. Business development professionals evaluating this code should monitor for school districts and county transportation or public-works departments—the typical buyers of fleet-maintenance equipment—but should not expect immediate pursuit opportunities based on current posted activity.
