NIGP 04092: Toys for Pets and Zoo Animals

NIGP 04092 Toys For Pets And Zoo Animals is an Item code under which state and local governments procure equipment and amenities designed for animal recreation and enrichment. Recent solicitations show that the code encompasses capital projects involving pet recreation infrastructure, including fencing, agility equipment, water features, waste management stations, and landscaping improvements for dog parks and similar animal facilities.

The City of Stonecrest, Georgia conducted a Design-Build invitation to bid (CITB-0002-26) in early 2026 for construction of a dog park at the Southeast Athletic Complex, with a response deadline of March 18, 2026. The project included approximately 14,600 square feet of developed space with chain-link fencing, agility equipment (King of the Hill covers, doogie crawls, hoop jumps, rover jump overs), potable water line installation with doggie drinking fountain, pet waste stations, benches, leash posts, signage, sod installation, shade trees, and a sidewalk with ADA ramp. The City required bidders to demonstrate prior experience performing similar dog park projects in Georgia within three years and to obtain Commercial General Liability insurance of at least $1 million per occurrence. Work was to commence within ten calendar days of receiving the Notice to Proceed and Purchase Order, with substantial completion required within 120 calendar days and final completion within 150 calendar days. The source contains limited geographic and issuing-body detail beyond this single opportunity; recent activity under the code is sparse.
