NIGP 02275: Sprigger and Seeder Parts, Grass

NIGP 02275 Sprigger and Seeder Parts, Grass is an Item code under which state and local governments procure seeds and related materials for wildflower and grass establishment, particularly for environmental management and land restoration. The scope encompasses grass seeds, wildflower seeds, and subordinate seed-related supplies acquired through formal competitive bidding. State forestry agencies, county flood control districts, and county purchasing departments have posted solicitations under this code in the recent period.

Texas is the primary market for this code based on current activity. Texas A&M Forest Service issued IFB 27005 for East Texas Seeds with proposals due October 30, 2026, and Harris County Flood Control District posted ITB 260202 for the supply of various wildflower seed and related items with an August 31, 2026 response deadline. Both solicitations used formal competitive bidding structures (IFB and ITB). Complete scope detail, quantities, contract values, and evaluation criteria are not disclosed in the summary records; bidders must obtain full solicitation documents directly from issuing bodies to understand specifications and award terms.
