This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation (paper copy) will not be issued. Further, offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this solicitation.Solicitation FA8751-09-Q-0006 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-27 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DCN) 20080915. This procurement is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 454311 and small business size standard of 500 employees.The contractor on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis shall furnish and deliver Diesel, Kerosene, and Propane to government owned tanks at Rome Research Site, Newport facility, and Stockbridge Test Site in accordance with the delivery schedule in the attached Requirements dated 28 May 2008. Deliveries will be required for a period of 1 year from date of contract award.The contractor must auto-fill all tanks at the middle and end of each month during the winter heating season of October through April. The contractor also is required to respond to requests for fuel delivery and complete delivery within five working days of notification. A list of persons authorized to request fuel deliveries will be provided by the contracting officer at time of contract award.The heating fuels to be delivered and the total estimated quantities are:ITEM 01: DF1 Diesel Fuel High Sulfur, Winter (NSN 9140-00-286-5286)QTY: 3,600 gallonsITEM 02: KSN Kerosene, Grade No. 2-K (NSN 9140-00-242-6748)QTY: 800 gallonsITEM 03: Propane, Type II (Federal Specification BBG-110, 95% Odorized)QTY: 19,500 gallonsThe estimated period of performance is 01 October 2008 through 30 September 2009. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District is soliciting offers under Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. W912BU-09-T-0018 for 55,000 gallons of # 2, Diesel Fuel Oil to be delivered by truck or barge on 07 February 2009 at 7:00am to the Hopper Dredge McFarland located at Morehead City Harbor Dock, 113 Arendell Street, Morehead City, NC 28577. The RFQ will be available on or about 26 January 2009. This action will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will only be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage-https://www.fbo.gov. Interested offerors must register with FBO before accessing the system. Offers will be due on 02 February 2009 at 12:00 pm eastern time and may be faxed to (215) 656-6780.
