Added: May 26, 2009 11:13 am The purpose of this Sources Sought/Market Research is to identify potential sources capable of supplying the following: Two Spools or 10 pounds of Steel Wire, round music, cold finish, bright, smooth. Wire must be furnished on 12 inch minimum diameter spools or wire will not be accepted. Spool to hold approximately 5 pounds or approximately 2235 feet. .029 diameter, holding size to within drawing tolerance of .0295 +/- .0005 inch, ASTM A228. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst is seeking sources of an AM2 Matting extrusion in accordance with Drawing #513273 rev F.The aforementioned drawing packages contain Export Controlled Data and are subject to the Arms Export Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C SEC 2751). Contractors must be certified by the Defense Logistics Services Center and have a current DD2345 on file. This concept allows for the construction of portable, reusable, forward-deployed airfields which can be assembled in a building block concept for the rapid introduction of air power. These airfields are fabricated from aluminum panels, designated AM2 Mat. The AM2 Mat expanses can be assembled to form an airfield's runways, taxiways, parking areas, and other areas required for aircraft operations and maintenance.Extrusion size shall be 2 ft. X 12 ft. Material shall be in accordance with ASTM-B-221, 6061, Temper T6. Federal STD No. 245 extrusion tolerances apply. Added: Mar 19, 2010 3:38 pm Fermilab is in need of a two part, stray magnetic field analysis:1) Analysis and modeling of the vertical stray field due to the magnetic field produced by a 16T 200mm aperture magnet to be installed in the industrial building #3 (IB3) at Fermilab.2) Analysis of wall shielding on the first floor of industrial building #3 (IB3) to limit fringe fields in the lateral direction outside the building, this will require a tee dimensional, nonlinear modeling effort. The vendor must have experience in magnetic shielding.
