The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Seattle awarded a single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a ceiling of $45 million to Alutiiq General Contractors, LLC to provide roadway and airfield pavement maintenance, repair, and construction services at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington through September 2025. The contract was set aside for competitive 8(a) small businesses and stems from a 2018 sources sought notice seeking a contractor experienced in supporting the pavement infrastructure needs of regional military airfields like those serving the C-17 aircraft.
Under the IDIQ, ten task orders have been awarded to Alutiiq General Contractors totaling over $21 million to repair roads and upgrade sidewalks at Fort Lewis and Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Work includes repairs to roadways, roundabouts, logistics gates and trails across the installations. Subcontractors provide specialized services for tasks like asphalt, concrete, equipment and materials. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Seattle oversees the work in support of infrastructure programs for Department of Defense installations in the region. Performance is at Fort Lewis and surrounding areas through early 2025.
