The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has awarded Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) known as the Eastern and Space Test Program 2 (EAST 2) contract. The contract, valued at a ceiling of $860,000,000, provides all services necessary to operate NASA's Agency Applications Office, including web application development, software support, IT infrastructure modernization, and other digital transformation services.
The task orders issued under this contract cover a broad range of IT, software, and engineering support for NASA's mission-critical systems and business processes. Key work includes web modernization, Salesforce-based customer relationship management, data analytics, enterprise automation, and human capital IT services. SAIC utilizes a team of subcontractors, including small businesses, to deliver these capabilities across NASA centers and headquarters. The work is performed primarily in Herndon, Virginia and is not set aside for any particular business type. This IDC continues NASA's strategy of leveraging enterprise-wide contract vehicles to enable rapid delivery of essential digital services and capabilities in support of the agency's goals.
