The U.S. Department of the Navy Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) awarded a single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, valued at $500 million, to WSM Pacific Siop, A Joint Venture, a foreign-owned for-profit partnership. This IDIQ contract provides architectural and engineering services in support of the Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program (SIOP) and other critical infrastructure projects at various locations under NAVFAC's cognizance.
Under this IDIQ contract, NAVFAC has issued multiple firm fixed price delivery orders to WSM Pacific Siop, including a $16.7 million award for an Advanced Planning Study to support the recapitalization of Dry Dock #6, a $247,917 contract for survey and utility investigations at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, a $10.6 million contract for preliminary design services, and a $148 million delivery order for initial studies and planning related to the P454 Multi-Mission Drydock project. The work performed under these delivery orders encompasses a wide range of services, such as program management, design development, site investigations, cost estimating, utility investigations, and topographic surveys. The contract does not have any set-aside designations, allowing the joint venture to leverage its expertise and resources fully in supporting NAVFAC's infrastructure modernization efforts across the Pacific region.
