About this IDV

The U.S. Navy's Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) awarded a $49 million single-award indefinite delivery contract (IDC) to Element Environmental, LLC, a minority-owned, Asian-Pacific American-owned small business, for architect-engineer services related to environmental investigations, permit applications, and related studies at various Navy and Marine Corps locations throughout the Pacific region. This IDC has a 5-year period of performance and covers a broad scope of environmental services, including air quality assessments, asbestos/lead management, dredging studies, drinking water analysis, environmental restoration, hazardous waste management, hydrogeology, radon testing, stormwater management, and underground storage tank evaluations.

Under this IDC, Element Environmental has been awarded multiple firm-fixed-price delivery orders to provide environmental consulting, engineering, and technical support services to the Department of Defense in the Pacific theater. These task orders cover a range of environmental compliance, remediation, and natural resource management activities at military installations in Hawaii, Guam, Japan, and other locations, such as asbestos surveys, radon testing and mitigation, stormwater monitoring, dredge material evaluations, and groundwater monitoring. The contracted work supports the Navy, Marine Corps, and other DoD agencies in maintaining environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance across their facilities in the Pacific region.
