About this IDV
The Department of the Navy's Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) awarded a 5-year, $95 million multiple award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract in 2016 to provide specialized range sustainment and environmental remediation services. Bering Sea Eccotech, Inc., an Alaskan Native Corporation-owned small business, is one of the prime contractors under this IDIQ. Through a series of firm fixed-price delivery orders issued against the IDIQ, Bering Sea Eccotech provides services such as operational range clearance, inspection and disposal of unexploded ordnance, demolition of obsolete munitions, and associated environmental remediation. This work supports the readiness of the Navy, Marine Corps, and other military branches' test and training ranges by ensuring their safety and continued usability. Many of the delivery orders have involved work at installations in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon, with Bering Sea Eccotech utilizing small business subcontractors for certain labor and quality assurance tasks. While some delivery orders have small business set-asides, the majority do not.
