This solicitation will be issued electronically, on the Department of the Interior's National Business Center (NBC) web site, at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Prospective offerors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the National Business Center. Proposal documents will be available in Microsoft Word, HTML and Adobe PDF; Specifications will be available in Adobe PDF format; and drawings will be available in PDF format. Offerors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Proposed Issue Date: July 22, 2008 ; Combined Announcement/Solicitation Commercial Items N2011080442. Title of Project: Fountain Maintenance and Repair IDIQ Location: National Capital Region Description: The work of this IDIQ services contract consists of general display pool and fountain cleaning, maintenance, problem analysis, supporting design efforts for fix, and repair services for a variety of display pools and fountains located within the National Capital Region of the National Park Service. Type of Procurement: It is anticipated that one or more negotiated firm-fixed price IDIQ contract(s) will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The government will consider an offeror's technical capability in comparison to its price. Estimated price range: $25,000 minimum order; $5 million Maximum Order Limit over Base Year + 4 Option Years. Time for completion: Base Year + 4 Option Year Periods. A guided site visit will be provided for all interested respondents and is scheduled for Wednesday, August 06, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time, starting at Meridian Hill Park. Such concerns must also have the maximum practicable opportunity to participate as subcontractors in the contracts awarded by any executive agency, consistent with efficient contract performance.
