The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command awarded an indefinite delivery contract to L3Harris Technologies Integrated Systems L.P. to provide C-130 aircraft Programmed Depot Maintenance, Unscheduled Depot Level Maintenance, mid-cycle paint, and catalog maintenance tasks. The single award contract has a potential value of $667.8 million over five years. Delivery orders have been issued against the contract to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul services for C-130J Hercules Transport Aircraft at locations in Bellmead, Texas. Major subcontractors support hardware manufacturing, aircraft parts production, and material processing. No set-asides were specified for the contract or task orders issued to date.
Task orders awarded against the contract have values ranging from approximately $1.4 million to $37.9 million. The period of performance for the task orders extends through November 2025 and supports the Air Force's strategic airlift capabilities through the C-130J fleet. The original solicitation sought proposals for the IDV to address overflow depot maintenance and mid-cycle paint that cannot be completed organically by the Air Force due to capacity constraints. Evaluation prioritized past performance and technical risk over cost.
