The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM) awarded an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) titled "DOE Nationwide Deactivation, Decommissioning and Removal (DD&R)" to Aptim Federal Services, LLC. This $3 billion multiple-award IDC has an ultimate completion date of June 30, 2030 and provides nationwide environmental remediation services under NAICS code 562910.
Under this IDC, DOE EM has issued several task orders to Aptim Federal Services, a global industry leader in critical infrastructure and environmental services. These include a $630 million firm fixed-price delivery order for DD&R work at the Kesselring Site, a $16.1 million cost-plus-incentive-fee task order for DD&R of Building 281 at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, a $69 million cost-plus-incentive task order for DD&R of the Ion Beam Facility at Los Alamos National Laboratory, and a $36.2 million firm fixed-price delivery order for DD&R of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Building 251. These task orders support DOE EM's mission to safely clean up the environmental legacy of nuclear weapons production and research.
