About this IDV
The National Cancer Institute awarded a single-award, indefinite delivery contract valued up to $500 million to the Tennessee Department of Health, Division of Fiscal Services as the prime contractor. The contract supports the Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results program through the collection and management of cancer incidence, treatment, and survival data. A $49.5k firm fixed price delivery order was issued against the contract for registry linkages and data management from September 2023 through April 2028.
Originally solicited in June 2019, the National Cancer Institute sought additional population-based central cancer registries to ramp up data collection efforts as part of the longstanding SEER program. Proposals were due in February 2020 for eight-year commitments utilizing the SEERDMS data management system. Evaluation criteria included mandatory qualifications to legally collect specified geographic cancer data. Awards under multiple IDIQ contracts were anticipated to total $1-500M by November 2020 for registries to migrate their data according to a phased timeline onto the SEERDMS platform currently run under a separate contract by International Medical Statistics.
