The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) awarded a $240 million Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) as part of its Western Region Pavement Preservation Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) vehicle. This multiple award contract, with a period of performance from November 2023 to October 2028, allows the FHWA to efficiently obtain a range of roadway construction and maintenance services across 13 western states.
As one of the pre-selected prime contractors, VSS International Inc. has been awarded several delivery orders under this MATOC. The delivery orders totaling over $24 million cover pavement preservation work such as crack sealing, patching, chip seal and microsurfacing application, and pavement marking at various National Park sites and federal highways in the western U.S. The firm fixed price delivery orders do not have any set-aside designations and will be performed in locations including Randle, Washington, Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and Paicines, California, with completion dates ranging from September 2025 to November 2024.
