The Department of Justice (DOJ) awarded a $1.5 billion multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract known as the MEGA 5 Automated Litigation Support (MEGA 5) contract to provide automated litigation support services to DOJ components including the Civil Division, Criminal Division, and U.S. Attorney's Offices. The prime contractor, PAE Labat-Anderson LLC, a subsidiary of Amentum Services, Inc. (doing business as AECOM), will deliver a range of services such as evidence acquisition, organization, case development, and presentation support on a time and materials basis. This will facilitate legal proceedings through technology-enabled review and management of electronically stored information. The DOJ originally released a solicitation in 2019 seeking these services with no set-aside designation, with an anticipated contract value of $400 million to $1.5 billion over seven years. The contract has a period of performance through May 2027, and PAE Labat-Anderson has received over $500 million in delivery orders to date under the MEGA 5 IDIQ.
While the MEGA 5 IDIQ was awarded to enable streamlined procurement of automated litigation support solutions, PAE Labat-Anderson also provides similar litigation support services as a subcontractor under other IDIQ vehicles like MEGA 4. The company has a strong track record in this domain, leveraging its parent firm Amentum Services' expertise in providing professional and technical services to federal government customers across various sectors.
