THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Solid Waste Removal Services for inmates at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) located at Glen Ray Road, Alderson, West Virginia 24910. The NAICS Code is 562111. Solid Waste Removal Services will be provided by the contractor for FPC Alderson. The Contractor shall provide complete trash removal services to include pick-up, haul, dump, and relocate for the FPC. The estimated amount of pulls per month is as follows: nine (9) for 20 cubic Yard Compactor, four (4) for 30 cubic Yard Open Top Construction Dumpster, four (4) for 20 cubic Yard Open Top Recyclying Center Dumpster, nine (9) for 2 cubic Yard Compactor, five (5) for 6 Yard Dumpster, which totals to approximately 31 pulls per month that equals to 372 pulls annually. This is an estimate only, the government does not guarantee these estimates. See the attached Statement of Work for more details. The Government contemplates awarding a requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the forthcoming solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a base year and four (4) 12-month option years. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about October 6, 2021, and will be distributed solely through SAM’s website (www.SAM.gov). All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX, intends to issue solicitation 15B10121Q00000030 for the provision of Solid Waste Landfill Services for Federal Prison Camp (FPC), Alderson, located at Glen Ray Rd. Box A, Alderson, WV 24910. Solid Waste Landfill Disposal Services will be provided by the contractor for FPC Alderson. FPC Alderson will transport solid waste to the contractor's facility. In general, the contractor shall provide service Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00am and 4:00pm; however, the Government reserves the right to change frequency of pick-ups and make changes to the performance schedule as necessary. The Contractor shall provide complete trash removal services to include pick-up, haul, dump, and relocate for the FPC. The contractor must be registered and licensed with the proper authorities to provide required services. The contractor must provide, with their quote, photocopies of documents evidencing abilities to perform required services in the State of West Virginia. The estimated pulls per month is 30, which totals to approximately 356 pulls annually. This is an estimate only, the government does not guarantee these estimates. See the attached Statement of Work for more details. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible vendor who submits the lowest quote to the Government based on price related factors only. The contract periods for the service will consist of a base year and four 12-month option years and 6 month option period. The Government shall have the right to inspect any disposal site where concerned refuse is disposed of without prior notification. More details forthcoming in the solicitation.
