The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service has awarded TJ Forestry Contracting LLC, a minority-owned small disadvantaged business, a multiple award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide a range of forestry services nationwide. The contract has a total ceiling value of $45 million and a period of performance through May 2026.
Under this IDIQ vehicle, the Forest Service has issued numerous firm fixed-price delivery orders to TJ Forestry Contracting for wildfire suppression through the provision of Type 2 firefighter crews, as well as reforestation, timber harvesting, vegetation management, and other land stewardship activities. While most orders did not have set-aside designations, TJ Forestry Contracting has secured some small business set-aside contracts, including a $1.25 million IDIQ to supply Type 2 firefighter crews. TJ Forestry Contracting has received over $4 million in delivery orders from various Forest Service regional offices across the western United States to support the agency's land and resource management efforts.
