The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service awarded a multiple award indefinite delivery contract to J. Franco Reforestation Inc., a minority-owned small disadvantaged business, to provide Type 2 firefighter crews for wildland fire suppression and incident response, as well as chippers and associated vegetation clearing services. The contract has a ceiling value of $105 million and a period of performance through May 2026.
Under this IDV, the Forest Service has issued numerous firm fixed-price delivery orders for J. Franco Reforestation to perform a range of forestry services, including reforestation activities such as tree planting and site preparation, wildfire support, and vegetation management across several western states. These delivery orders, valued at over $145 million in total, support the Forest Service's land management, fire response, and disaster relief missions on national forests and grasslands.
