About this IDV
Environmental Cost Management, Inc. (ECM), a minority-owned and small disadvantaged business, has been awarded multiple federal contracts and Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) to provide comprehensive environmental consulting, remediation, and engineering services to civilian agencies such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service, Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management, and National Park Service. These contracts, valued up to $30 million, support the agencies' environmental stewardship efforts on federal lands by enabling ECM to conduct site assessments, cleanups, monitoring, and other CERCLA-related activities at abandoned mines, shooting ranges, landfills, and contaminated sites across the western United States. The contracted services include developing Sampling and Analysis Plans, Engineering Evaluation/Cost Analyses, human health and ecological risk assessments, and other technical studies to inform remediation decisions and restoration activities.
ECM holds a $1.25 million Federal Supply Schedule contract with the General Services Administration that provides a wide range of environmental consulting services, including environmental assessments, NEPA compliance, natural resource management, and homeland security-related services. Under this contract vehicle, ECM has been awarded numerous firm fixed-price delivery orders from federal land management agencies to perform tasks such as metadata analysis, site inspections, and engineering evaluations at national parks, preserves, and other public lands. The company's experience and status as a small disadvantaged business have enabled it to secure both set-aside and full and open competition contracts to support the environmental priorities of its federal customers.
