The Sanborn Map Company, Inc. has been awarded a $174.1 million Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to provide aerial imagery acquisition services in support of programs such as the National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP), National Resource Inventory (NRI), and Stewardship Lands (SL). The BPA, which has a period of performance from November 2021 to November 2026, enables USDA agencies like the Farm Service Agency and National Resources Conservation Service to issue task orders for the delivery of high-resolution orthorectified imagery, airborne GPS data, and associated geospatial products. These services will be used to monitor agricultural land use, inventory natural resources, manage wildfires, and create accurate maps for decision-making.
In addition, Sanborn holds an $850 million Indefinite Delivery Contract with the U.S. Geological Survey for the Geospatial Products and Services IV program, further positioning the company as a key provider of geospatial services to civilian federal agencies. Under this contract, Sanborn has received numerous delivery orders for a variety of geospatial data, tools, applications, and services supporting the USGS's mapping, charting, and geospatial activities across various states. The company may utilize subcontractors to fulfill the contract requirements, and the awarded contracts do not have any set-aside designations.
