About this IDV

This Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) was awarded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service to the prime contractor, Training Resources Group, Inc. (TRG), a management consulting and training firm located in Arlington, Virginia. The $9.5 million BPA allows the Forest Service to issue task orders to TRG for organizational development, facilitation, training, and coaching services related to international sustainable forest management, climate change, community resilience, and disaster preparedness programs. The BPA was established under the General Services Administration's Professional Services Schedule (PSS), a multiple award contract vehicle. TRG has been awarded numerous task orders under this BPA for specific initiatives such as seminars, workshops, strategic planning, course development, and assessments to build capacity for the Forest Service's international programs. This contract work does not have any set-aside designations and is performed primarily at TRG's Virginia office.

The original solicitation for the PSS contract was a standing government-wide acquisition opportunity that enabled federal agencies to procure a wide range of professional services, including business consulting, financial consulting, environmental services, engineering, advertising, logistics, and language services. The PSS consolidated multiple legacy schedules to provide a comprehensive contracting vehicle for agencies to access expertise across these service areas. As a PSS contract holder, TRG can deliver task-order based services in support of the Forest Service's international program needs through the period of performance ending in 2025.
