The Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service has awarded a $49,500,000 Blanket Purchase Agreement to Forestech Consulting, Inc., dba F4 TECH, for hazardous fuels reduction services across the contiguous United States and Guam. This multiple-award BPA, with a period of performance through March 2029, was set aside for small businesses.
The BPA will task Forestech, as the prime contractor, to provide a variety of forestry and land management services including mechanical clearing, chemical/herbicide application, reforestation, invasive species control, timber sales support, and other silviculture work on Service-managed lands. Task orders will be competed among BPA holders using either a best value tradeoff or lowest price technically acceptable basis. Forestech, a Tallahassee-based forestry technology and services firm, has prior experience delivering similar services to the U.S. Forest Service and Army Corps of Engineers through fixed-price contracts and subcontracts.
