The Arizona Humanities Council Inc. received a $1,044,416 Project Grant award from the National Endowment for the Humanities under the Promotion of the Humanities Federal/State Partnership program (CFDA 45.129). The grant will support the Council's work to promote local, statewide, and regional public humanities programming in Arizona from June 2021 through April 2023. As the state's leader for advancing the humanities, the Council will use the federal funding to provide opportunities for Arizonans to explore cultural traditions and participate in discussions around history, literature, ethics and more through a variety of public programs and events.
