This Project Grant award of $610,701 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the Continuum of Care (CoC) Program (CFDA 14.267) supports the efforts of Hope's Door, a non-profit organization, to provide comprehensive services to address homelessness and assist survivors of domestic and family violence in the Plano, TX area.
Through this federal grant, Hope's Door will offer a range of critical services including emergency shelter, transitional and permanent housing assistance, counseling, advocacy, legal support, and other supportive services. These programs aim to quickly rehouse and stabilize homeless individuals and families while minimizing trauma and promoting self-sufficiency. As a sub-recipient, Hope's Door has also partnered with various state and local government agencies in Texas to offer specialized programs such as domestic violence hotline services, counseling, shelter services, and COVID-19 related emergency housing and homeless services.
