Description
Plans are to give our 4 new LPN scholarship graduates incentive bonuses of $2200 each for a hiring total of $8,800. We hope to hire at least 2 cnas and they will be given $750 each as a sign-on bonus for a total of $1500. We just hired one homemaker and plans are to provide her with a $500 sign-on incentive. We also plan on hiring 12 additional homemakers and they each would be eligible for $500 sign-on incentives as non-trained aides. The new homemakers will fill the 9 currently open positions and 3 of the 4 positions our new lpns will leave open. We've already replaced 1 CNA position for our LPN already working on the floor. The total amount of sign-on for aides is projected to be $6000. Incentives for nurses are payable one-half at start of employment. Second half payable is after 6 months of employment and satisfactory performance reviews at the 3RD and 6TH month work anniversary. Cnas are paid their full incentive after completion of 6 months of employment and satisfactory performance reviews at 3RD and 6TH month. Homemakers are paid their full incentive after successful completion of their CNA training, 6 months of employment, and satisfactory performance review at the 3RD and 6TH month. Nursing staff are required to work at least 18 months or are obligated, through contract, to repay any incentive on a pro-rata basis. Estimated total sign-on incentives are $19,500. VA portion would be $9,750. Total $72,412.36
